12 tours  ·  from $40

The pilot whales in the channel stay put all year, so the month matters less than the boat and the sea state. These 12 are compared on sailing time, group size, whether they carry a hydrophone and what happens if nothing surfaces.

“We were picked up in a clean air conditioned bus and transported straight to the port. Once in the bud the guides we’re friendly and spoke it all various languages to ensure everyone was included. There were alot of people experiencing sea sickness but the crew were well prepared for this and frequently checked on people who were feeling unwell. We saw lots of dolphins and my 5 year old thoroughly enjoyed her experience too! The coach was there when we got off the boat too ready to collect us and kindly waited for my daughter to use the toilets near by. Great value for money and it being 2.5…”

Watch from the open deck or glass-bottom viewing area, hear commentary from the multilingual crew, and consider the swim-stop and resort-transfer upgrade. Captain Lorenzo is often at the helm.

“It was a horrible experience. You feel sick the whole time (and I usually don’t get seasick), and so did the other passengers. For children, it’s a shocking experience. They should mention that instead of showing only the romantic side of the trip. You feel so sick that you can’t even see dolphins.”

“It was horrible and Im a very easy person to please. We didnt do any of the things they say they were gonna do. Apart from this a woman was vomiting cuz the boat was very unstable and we were on a moving boat for 2 hours and 30 minutes nonstop. Very cold as well.”

“The boat ride was pleasant, and although we didn't see any marine life, it was good to be out on the water. The boat's crew are welcoming and kept you informed about potential dolphin and whale sightings throughout the journey. Some free drinks and snacks are available throughout the journey. The person managing the boat's check in however, was quite unwelcoming and lectured us pretty harshly after I informed them that our trip had been rescheduled via Viator. I'm unsure why they felt it necessary to be so rude, not great customer care. Based on that experience I would try an alternative boat company next time.”

Friendly crew worked hard to find the dolphins and succeeded! Dozens and dozens of graceful , beautiful creatures, almost within touching distance of the boat. Stopped for an excellent lunch and drinks (included) while the kids snorkelled in shallow blue water. We 100% recommend every aspect of this trip.”
